Simple Christianity
During his ministry, when Jesus was teaching in Judea and Galilee, some of the things he said to the religious leaders were deeply confusing to them. On the other hand, the things he said to the common folk were plain and easily comprehended. He touched, spoke to, spent time with, and healed everyone who came to him with Simple Faith and without preconceived religious notions. It seems pretty clear that anyone who came to him without Simple Faith and with preconceived religious notions were either rejected by him or prevented from understanding his teachings.
Based on these things, Simple Christianity could be explained as coming to Jesus with Simple Faith, hearing his words, obeying his teachings, loving God, seeking the best good for your fellow humankind, and keeping yourself free from improper and stifling religious conceptions. Doing these things will remove obstacles that could prevent your spiritual growth, and enrich your soil so you can grow even fuller and freer in Christ!
Now that we’ve said that, don’t be fooled: Simple Christianity does require effort and discipline. However, we should never make it into something more difficult than it is. It doesn’t require a single certificate or degree. It is simply the most valuable possession you can have in your life.
Simple Faith
Although Faith seems like an abstraction to the world, for the believer it can become more tangible than any stone.
Simple Christianity
Christianity is simple: it’s all about Love. God’s Love for people moves us from a state of being apart from Him to one being a part of Him. The Christian’s love for people prompts us to seek the better good for everyone in God’s creation.
The Christian Leader
Christian leaders understand that spiritual leadership is not only necessary, it is also different from physical leadership. It is the art of bringing a person to a deeper understanding of God through His Word.
The Christian Follower
All Christians are followers of Christ, and most Christians need the leadership of a more mature Christian. Christian followers practice the art of submitting to the leadership of both God and man.
